The Face Book

The first part of overcoming an addiction is to admit to it. So, I admit: the reason there has not been much action here over the last few days is that I am addicted to The Face Book.

The situation will be rectified shortly. In the meantime, I leave you with news of something significant that happened to me the other day. As I was driving to Durham, I came off the A1(M) and approached the roundabout. As I approached, the traffic lights on the roundabout all turned off.

Has anyone else ever seen part-time traffic lights go on or off duty?

No, I'm not stalking you but you also have a blog page! I shall bookmark it forthwith; isn't Face Book wonderful?

By the way, that is about as interesting a question as "What do I do if I break down in the single contraflow lane on the M1 roadworks outside Luton at rush our?" which I read somewhere the other day.
